Personal Data may be freely provided by the User or, in the case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using this Application.
Unless otherwise specified, all Data requested by this Application is mandatory.

In cases where this Application indicates certain Data as optional, Users are free to refrain from providing such Data, without this having any consequence on the availability or operation of the Service.

Retention period

Unless otherwise indicated in this document, Personal Data is processed and stored for the time required by the purpose for which it was collected and may be stored for a longer period due to any legal obligations or on the basis of the Users' consent.

       Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) is a web analysis service provided by Google LLC or by Google Ireland Limited, depending on how the Data Controller manages        Data processing (“Google”). Google uses the Personal Data collected to track and examine the use of this Application, to compile reports, and to share them with other          services developed by Google.

       Google may use the collected Personal Data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

        Google Analytics is a statistics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”). Google uses the Personal Data collected to track and examine the use of this               Application, compile reports, and share them with other services developed by Google.
        Google may use the Personal Data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its advertising network.
        In Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are used at the time of collection and then deleted before any data is stored in any data center or server. For more information,               please consult the official Google documentation.

        Meta Events Manager is a statistics service provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. By integrating the Meta Pixel, Meta Events Manager allows the Data Controller           to obtain information regarding traffic and interactions within this Application.

      Some of the services listed below may use Tracking Tools to identify the User, or may use behavioral retargeting techniques — that is, displaying advertisements tailored to       the User’s interests and behavior — or to measure the performance of ads.

      Meta Ads Conversion Tracking (Meta Pixel) (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited)

      Meta Ads Conversion Tracking (Meta Pixel) is an analytics service provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited that connects data from the Meta advertising network with         actions performed within this Application. The Meta Pixel tracks conversions that can be attributed to ads on Facebook, Instagram, and Audience Network.

  • Platform and Hosting Services

​       These services are intended to host and operate key components of this Application, making it possible to provide this Application from a single platform.

      Such platforms provide the Data Controller with a wide range of tools — for example, analytics tools, user registration management, comment and database                       management, e-commerce, payment processing, etc. The use of these tools involves the collection and processing of Personal Data.
      Some of these services operate through geographically distributed servers, making it difficult to determine the exact location where Personal Data is stored.

Legal Basis for Processing

The Data Controller processes Personal Data relating to the User in the following cases:

  • the User has given consent for one or more specific purposes;

  • processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the User and/or for any pre-contractual obligations thereof;

  • processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject;

  • processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Data Controller;

  • processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller or by a third party.

In any case, the User may request the Data Controller to clarify the specific legal basis that applies to each processing operation and, in particular, to specify whether the processing is based on legal requirements, contractual necessity, or consent.

Additional Information on Retention Period

Unless otherwise specified in this document, Personal Data are processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose for which they have been collected and may be kept for a longer period due to legal obligations or based on the User’s consent.

Therefore:

  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Data Controller and the User will be retained until such contract has been fully performed.

  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the legitimate interests of the Data Controller will be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. Users may obtain further information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Controller.

  • When processing is based on the User’s consent, the Data Controller may retain Personal Data for a longer period until such consent is withdrawn. Furthermore, the Data Controller may be required to retain Personal Data for a longer period in order to comply with a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.

Upon expiry of the retention period, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, after the expiration of this period, the right to access, deletion, rectification, and data portability can no longer be exercised.

User Rights Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Users may exercise certain rights regarding their Data processed by the Data Controller.

In particular, and to the extent permitted by law, the User has the right to:

  • withdraw consent at any time. The User may withdraw previously given consent to the processing of their Personal Data;

  • object to the processing of their Data. The User may object to the processing of their Data when it is carried out on a legal basis other than consent;

  • access their Data. The User has the right to learn if Data are being processed by the Data Controller, obtain disclosure regarding certain aspects of the processing, and receive a copy of the Data undergoing processing;

  • verify and seek rectification. The User has the right to verify the accuracy of their Data and ask for it to be updated or corrected;

  • restrict the processing of their Data. The User may request that the processing of their Data be restricted. In this case, the Data Controller will not process the Data for any purpose other than storing it;

  • have their Personal Data deleted or removed. The User has the right to obtain the erasure of their Data from the Data Controller;

  • receive their Data and have it transferred to another controller. The User has the right to receive their Data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and, if technically feasible, to have it transmitted to another controller without hindrance;

  • lodge a complaint. The User has the right to bring a claim before the competent data protection authority or seek judicial remedy.

Users also have the right to obtain information regarding the legal basis for Data transfers to countries outside the European Union or to any international organization governed by public international law (such as the UN), as well as the security measures adopted by the Data Controller to safeguard their Data.

When Personal Data are processed for a public interest, in the exercise of an official authority vested in the Data Controller, or for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller, Users may object to such processing on grounds relating to their particular situation.

Users are reminded that, should their Personal Data be processed for direct marketing purposes, they can object to that processing at any time, free of charge and without providing any justification. Once the User objects to processing for direct marketing purposes, the Personal Data shall no longer be processed for such purposes.

 

How to Exercise These Rights

Any requests to exercise User rights can be directed to the Data Controller through the contact details provided in this document. Such requests are free of charge and will be processed by the Data Controller as soon as possible, and in any event within one month, providing the User with all the information required by law.

Any rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing will be communicated by the Data Controller to each recipient, if any, to whom the Personal Data have been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. The Data Controller shall inform the User about such recipients if the User requests it.
